When I first visited Washington in 2009, I told the folks I met that the Republican Party needed to take a hard look at itself and decide if it was part of the problem or part of the solution. The GOP needed a 12 step program and admit the problem. I believe we are on our way to recovery, but we have much work to do. Things like the following video, definitely help us along that road.

Congratulations Senator-Elect Scott Brown! He ran a campaign based on a positive, solutions-centered message against a message of state control, debt financed “progress” and paternalistic government. Those who support the public option, cap and tax, debt stimulus, and government jobs, are on notice. Independent, conservative, common sense solutions are the future. Welcome aboard Senator Brown!

Today, we began our qualification by petition process, dropping off 3,000 signed petitions to the Polk County Supervisor of Elections. We have almost 1,000 to drop off to Hillsborough County. We are so close to our goal. Click “more” to find out how you can help.
